Tangerine Quartz is a striking variety of Quartz coloured by natural iron inclusions. She belongs to the hexagonal crystal system and is composed of silicon dioxide (SiO₂) with impurities that give her distinctive orange hue. With a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale, she is durable and well-suited to both jewellery and healing use. Found mainly in Africa, she is associated with the base and sacral chakras, her warm tones radiating energy, vitality and life-force.
