She is part of the agate family, a variety of chalcedony, and is found in places such as the USA, India, Morocco, Brazil, the Czech Republic and Africa. With a hardness of around 6 on the Mohs scale she is durable enough to be shaped into jewellery or carried daily, yet she retains a sense of delicacy in her colouring. Her peaceful look reflects the calm energy she is known to bring.
